Hello,

This is my first post ever and I really need some advice about some software. I am clueless about some of the software, so please be kind.

I have Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 with a Intel Core 2 Duo processor. I cannot get the Mac App Store on my dock, even though I've run an update and my computer says all my software is up to date.

I would also like to get the OS X Lion, but I don't know where I would find information about my current operating system and if it's a Leopard or not. Could someone help me with figuring all this out?

Thanks!

10.5.8 is Leopard. You need Snow Leopard then you can install Lion. They sell the Snow Leopard disk for $29 at Apple. Lion is another $29
