i want to install this brute force, cracking program that i found on my laptop but the only thing deterring me from this is my lack of skill and knowledge with computer science.
i was wondering if anyone could help me with a really thorough guide on how to do this as i am woefully ignorant :(.
any help would be much appreciated!:D

ok, so i installed macports 2.1.2 and to make sure it installed correctly i typed the "port" command and got:

Mauricios-MacBook-Pro:~ mauriciorojas$ port
MacPorts 2.1.2
Entering interactive mode... ("help" for help, "quit" to quit)

which i imagine is a good thing. however my terminal went from saying "bash" at the top to "tclsh8.5" and my commands are now different. before when it said bash i tried the "sudo port selfupdate" command and it would say:

Mauricios-MacBook-Pro:~ mauriciorojas$ sudo port selfupdate
sudo: port: command not found

now on this tcl terminal whenever i type it in it says:

[Users/mauriciorojas] > sudo port selfupdate
Error: Unrecognized action "port sudo"

i dont know where to go from here
