[NEED HELP] iPad terrible! Black screen etc (FIX?)

Stupiddly i jailbroke my 4.2.1 iPad with redsn0w tethered and now the screen is REALLY dim and it doesn't respond to my finger. I know it turns on as i can see the lock screen.

If there isn't a way to fix it my self i will go to the Apple store but for now does anyone know how i can untether it so it might fix it or another solution to sort out this problem.

If someone helps me there will be a BIG thanks involved.

Try a restore in iTunes. If you have SHSH backed up in Cydia you should be able to restore back to the version you are on now.. If not you will be stuck with upgrading to the latest iOS version which is not jailbroken unfortunately.

That's the thing even if i restore the iPad or upgrade it the tethered jailbreak somehow stays there. I aint bothered about the jailbreak anymore, i won't be doing it again.

Restore as new. Your backup has traces of the jb.
