I have a photo of myself with Carrie Underwood when I met her last year that I'd really like to use as my wallpaper. But the image is widescreen I guess, since I took it with my digital camera, and when I set it as my wallpaper, it has the black bars on the top and bottom. Is there any photo editing software that I can use to make this image fill the entire screen? I'm not that good with photoshop, so if anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

When you go to set it as the wallpaper, you can pinch and zoom and slide around on it before you confirm the selection.

Just re-size it there. No need to edit the photo itself!
