Dear community, I am trying to figure out a couple of things related to photo management on my MacBook Pro and those are the questions:
1. When I import photos from an iPhone to Mac they to go User-->Photos-->Photo Library. The problem is, I cannot select this library as a folder and cannot synchronise with an iPhone if I want to. I cannot even access these photos to copy them or edit them. It is just a library folder. Can I access each and every photo individually in a folder?

2. Seems like I have many duplicate photos. Is there a way to clean them up?

Thank you!

It's just Finder woodoo, the Library. Right click and select Show Package Contents to reveal the folder structure.
