Need Help Moving ACCs from Winpod To Powerbook

Hello all, I recently purchased a 12 powerbook to replace my windows machine. As the final step in switching over I am copying all my AAC files from my15 gig ipod to my powerbook so I will have a backup in case of accident. I downloaded podutil to enable me to move the files but I have run into an odd issue. My problem is that on my ipod, in the about ipod section, it lists the ipod as having 1857 songs. After moving the contents of my ipod's drive to the itunes music folder It lists only 1847 songs. Can anyone help me account for the difference?

I'm assuming you mean AAC files. And yes, I've had a similar issue. I think that it is some discrepancy within the iPod program not finding certain songs or something. I think that the iTunes Music Library file is set up the same on both platforms, so you may just try copying all the files over in Hard Disk mode. That worked for me.
