Hello all,

Currently my work flow is this:

Basic Note during a meeting: Notebooks http://www.notebooksapp.com/
Basic Note during a meeting + digital handouts or pdf files: Outline http://outline.ws/mac

Items I have used in the past:
Evernote - still use this for my personal stuff, but the lack of todo makes it almost impossible for me to use as a day to day work application. Love the fact I can get it on any device.

Circus Ponies Notebook http://www.circusponies.com/
Lack of iPhone app kills it for me.

Here is where I am running into issues.

Outline does not have the following:
ToDo List or an iPhone app
But handles my notes and attachments beautifully, with the execption of being able to search the attachments like Evernote does.

Notebooks does not have the following:
Inserting attachments. Not there, you have to link to them.
Not functionality is just ok. It does markup, but it doesn't handle or operate nearly as nice as Outline

I use Evernote, but I do not like the implementation of ToDo Lists or lack of (yes I know it is there). Notebooks has this part down and works very well and I use it quite a bit. Evernote also handles attachments better than outline, given it searches through them.

I have emailed the folks at Outline, about creating an iPhone version which they say they are working on but it has been a year or just about a year.

Things I am looking for, and I do know this product might not exist, but that is why I am asking.

- Integrated ToDo / Tasks with simple due date
- Handle attachments, embed the attachment not link to it.
- Work with dropbox or other cloud service
- iPhone client that is not just a read only, needs to be able to update the notes/tasks etc.

I don't mind paying for product however I do not want a monthly subscription service to use the software.

My current work flow is this:
Depending on the need for the type of notes I will open up one of the programs above. Most likely notebooks. If there is a todo/task, if I am not in notebooks, I go back to notebooks and enter in the info. Then I jump in an out of the two programs based on my note taking needs. This becomes confusing at times, because I have to remember which note taking app I was in to take said notes! I would love to stay with in one application... but the amount of notes and literature/documents/handouts I tag, read, and use on a daily basis, I need one spot to keep it all.

Thanks in advance.......
