I can delete the ones from 'saved photos' but I can't delete any from 'iphoto library'. How do I delete the ones from the library. I can't do it manually from my iphone/ipad...there's no option for it. Thanks.

You might can do it if you jailbreak... not sure
But you can't natively
You have to delete from iPhoto or choose not to sync that album, etc.
