Need Help on importing V2 Mailboxes to Mail

Hi All,

I take regular backup of my Mails on my external hard-drives. I simply drag the mail folder to my HDD. Now I have a MBP running on Mavericks. When I try to import the mailboxes, Mail is creating the folders but they are all empty.

Then I noticed a new kind of structure with folder V2 and then different folders underneath it. Basically lots and lots of folders with messages.

I need your help on how to import the old emails. The simple import feature is not working. Feel free to ask incase I am not clear.
