Need help on importing Windows Thunderbird Inbox to Mail

Hi all

I finally convinced my mother to get a Mac and she's loving it, but I can't import her emails to Mail from Thunderbird running on a Windows box.

I followed the instructions on the Mozilla page that said I should copy the files from the ~/Documents and Settings/User Name/Application Data/Thunderbird/Profiles folder, but Mail says it's not a compatible .mbox file. Can anyone help me out with this one?

I'd really appreciate if I could set-up Mail so she can use it, since it's the one with the best integration with the OS.

I tried doing that, but Mail insists that those aren`t valid .mbox files.

Any ideas?

No ideas really. Are you sure you are renaming the correct file from the PC side?

I know I had some issues doing this, but never got the error that it wasn't a valid .mbox file.....just where the import didn't really work.
