Need help on jailbroken 3GS

I have a iPhone 3Gs, jailbroken using redsnow. I've forgotten about the version of iOS. The thing is, the iPhone is stuck on the apple logo when i turn on the phone. I could only turn off the phone by holding the home and sleep button. I tried to restore using iTunes, but it says the iPhone isn't eligible for the requested build.
