I have a Mid 2010 Macbook Pro 15" Unibody that I'm interested in selling and I'm not sure what I can get for it.

The specs are:

15" high res screen
i7 2.66 ghz processor
500 GB Hard Drive
8 GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GT 330M 512 GB

The case has some scuffs on the top and a very small shallow dent but everything else is in great condition.

Also where would you recommend selling it to get the best response?

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what you may be able to charge. Then adjust your price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

I believe most use eBay or Craigslist as venues for selling Macs.
