Hi Guys,

I have a problem that someone here might know the answer to.

I placed my order for the new iMac last night and discovered I made a small error. I ordered the wireless Swedish keyboard instead of the wired English. So I called Apple this morning and they said the only remedy is to cancel the whole order and re-order.

I don't want to do that because of the way I ordered. ( 0% financing and used 2 apple gift cards). And I don't want to cancel anyway. They said that if I didn't want to re-ordered that once I get it, I could try exchanging it at an Apple Retail store which is fine with me.

But then I got to thinking...if I ordered the Swedish keyboard, does that mean that the OS X will be in Swedish?

Has this ever happened to anyone?

You can select your preferred language for OS X, independent of any hardware attached.

As GGJstudios said: Very easy to switch and choose the combination you want. Also during initial setup you can define the language. I run Japanese keyboards with English as OS language;no worries.

Thanks Guys!:D
That's a relief and saved me another phone call!
This is my first Mac coming from a long time PC user.
YAY!
