Hey guys, i'm an in no way good with cell phones and syncing them etc.
So any help would be great. Here is the deal:

-I have a samsung A740 on Pay as you go.
-I want to plug it into my mac running Tiger
-upload ringtones, maybe pictures, etc.
-I cannot use the Web browser on the phone for some reason (Possibly cause i'm on paygo)
-Please let me know if i can plug this into my mac (i guess i could install windblows for a short time if it would only work with that crappy system)

I would have to buy the usb cable for about 13US, and i want to be sure before i do.

Thanks. also will it charge the phone? then could i plug it into say an apple charger through usb?

!:apple:!

if it has bluetooth, you can connect using that.

But yes, i think it will work in Mac OS. But don't use the Apple USB charger unless the phone is on the same voltage etc. if you don't know this information, don't try it.

You need to have the phone...cable....and drivers. Without the drivers, your Mac will just charge the phone.

Here's an eBay link for a software + cable package for ya!

Hope it helps.
hmmm, are there any guarantees thats gonna work with a mac? is there any generic phone sync software offered for mac such as the one for the psp?
29$ is steep for a usb cable and some poor software:rolleyes:
