Hi, I have read so much I am confused.
I have three emates for my children. I am going to give them each one to encourage them to write more.
Problem is I am confused about what is the best solution for printing.
As far as I can tell these are the solutions;
Buy a battery Ram card to write to, will this then go into a reg computer normally?
Buy a nine pin to used cord and used that with the serial, will a new computer recognize it, do I then need the drivers from unna?
A wireless card to email the docs in RTF. I have seen these on ebay, but I am worried about being able to set up.
A CF card, though I have a 32 MB card in a type I adapter and it says "there is a problem with this card", I am thinking that that program Einstein is too complicated as I have no idea on the ROM part of it, and I still need a serial cord for it.
I am not a programmer and all the things to fix this seem complicated to me. Love the emate though (what a cute machine).
Thanks.
I should add we have 2 macbooks, 3 XP machines, and a Linux machine to work with.
