Need Help restore my Lion! Plz?

Hello everyone. I just registered here because...simply I need your help.

I just bought my new macbook air @ apple store. I was replacing my macbook
pro from 2008(unbelievably FAST!!) but didn't realize migration was something
different than what
you do when you first open the box...(set up is the correct term??)

Needless to say, I attempted to reinstall the Lion using the disk utility however,
that didn't really get me what I wanted either... Since it saved the apple ID I
used to log on before along with itunes account and etc,...

Then I had read some posts here to do the erasing the HD & then to reinstall...
I did the erasing with no problem and then to the next step of reinstalling...
Come to find out, at my home, the wireless connection was using the WEP
instead of WPA...(according to the Apple website, WPA is the needed connection
if you want to reinstall thru internet...)

So I messed with the router and got it working as WPA instead of WEP. I
thought I was almost done...
However!
No matter how many times I punch in the correct password that I set up with
verizon page, it does not go through....keeps telling me it is invalid.

Am I missing some steps here?
Do I need to go and ask for geniuses help?
Is it something that verizon should be doing to correct it?
There is nothing I can do to fix it myself?

I probably am not explaining my situation all that clearly...but if anyone has
any idea as to what to do, please let me know. I am willing to give it a try.
If there is more info needed, don't hesitate to inquire, I will add it later on...

Remember first that you need your password for your actual router, and not a password that you might use for connecting to your Verizon account. They could be different. If you have another computer I suggest changing your WPA password and trying again. Maybe remove it (temporarily) and see if that works. If not, I'd go back to the Apple store and have the Genius Bar restore your Lion installation, as they have Wi-Fi there.

Getting to your first question, Migration Assistant should have simply copied over your existing data and applications without overwriting Lion. I used Migration Assistant to copy over files from my old Snow Leopard MacBook Air from a Time Capsule backup and it worked fine (it took a few hours, but it worked).

Yes...I do have another working mac. However, I am having difficult time
logging onto that verizon 192.168.1.1 site...(am I OK to assume you are
familier with fios stuff??)
Whenever I try to type in my password...keeps filling itself in for some reason...
(I had successfully logged on twice and set up my log on name and password
but still the same thing happens...frustrating!)

I am beginning to think it might be easier for me to just take it in to the
apple store. Either that, or maybe give apple care a try...(don't really know
if they can help remotely...especially when my air can not connect to the
internet...)
