Need HELP restoring from Backup...

Hey guys and gals. I recently backed up my mom's computer (Safari settings, iCal, and Address Book) using Apple's Backup all in 10.4. I then formatted and installed 10.5 and downloaded Backup and tried to do a restore. The Safari bookmarks carried over but the address book and iCal make no difference. All 3 show up in the restore option (and all 3 are check marked) but there are no new addresses or iCal events added when I restore.

PLEASE HELP... As you can imagine this is super important for my mom.
