Wow I just picked up a 15" 2.3 w 8gigs 750 gigs and hidef anti glare w apple care for $2k!

I have backed up my other MBP w time machine, I would like to completely restore the 15" back to new, THEN import my old files off my external harddrive how do I do this?

I have a lion disc

maybe I should be more clear
I started muy new mac holding down the option key and tried to erase the hard drive which appeared to be partitioned I could only erase the partition. I want this thing CLEARED OUT like new; will rinstalling lion from the disc I have do this? what about restoring from my time machine backup? will that delete the old harddrive and reinstall my backedup fileS?

Macworld has a series of articles on how to do this. I followed them; formatted the HDD, installed Lion and restored from TC. Was easy, and went as planned.
