Need help selling iphone

Ok. So I am getting geared up for 3G and I want to sell off my 4Gig Iphone. The phone itself is NOT unlocked. What I want to know, is how do I do this wthout giving away my at&t account? Do I take the sim card out? If I take the sim card out, Which SIM card do i put in the phone?

P.s. I am on a go-phone plan as I thought that 3g would come out this year and I didnt want to get tied into a contract if its not exclusively AT&T.

Help would be appreciated.

Sell the phone without one

And...

Either jailbreak the new one, or get att or whoever to get you a new sim on the same account... i think... you cant just drop the old sim in, youd need a new one and they have to modify the account er smthn, im not 100% sure, but i know if youre a real customer theyll do it somehow

Take the sim out and goto settings->reset->erase all content and settings.

Will reset the phone to virgin settings. In the meantime you can use your sim in any unlocked /and or at&t phone while waiting for a 3g iphone.
