Need help setting up an aggregate device

I have 2 monitors connected to my Macbook Pro and they both have built in speakers. I want to have them both play whatever I play and I know the way to do that is to create an aggregate device using Audio MIDI setup. However, I couldn't get around setting it up so they are seen as one output source for the Mac. I tried playing around with it a few times but I couldn't get it to work. Would any one know how to do it? or anyone have it set up this way? Any guidance would be much appreciated.
