I just bought a new TV and I have a Dazzle for Mac, which converts anything from the TV into a file. I've got some old VHS tapes that I need to convert before they decay basically :p The problem is, I also need to record off my Ps3. My TV has an HDMI port, a scart port, component ports (HD) and an antennae slot. My Dazzle has an 3 RCA ports and an s-video port.

What splitters do I need to get and what would be the best method?

I was also wondering if it would work if, I used an AV cable/RCA cable to get from the Ps3 into the TV, via a scart plug, then using a scart splitter and another RCA cable to redirect it back into the Dazzle and into my laptop?

Thanks for your help.
