I just moved in to a new place and I would like to give me roommate access to my home folder so we can share files. How do I go about allowing him to log into my machine form windows and access everything in my home folder? I have been able to set up sharing where I can log in from xp and see my files but I want to give him an account to use to login and still see my files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to System Prefrences > Sharing and check the box Windows Sharing. Give your roommate the address that shows up at the bottom and you two should be ready to go.

One more quick question, my roommate isn't here this week so I can't test it but when they try to connect to my machine using the address that is listen the sharing preferences will they need to enter a username and password? Or will it just show my files? I don't want to have to give him my username and password to access my files from his windows system.
