need help: something about apple tradition

hello, every body. my girlfriend want to join apple family.but she has no idea about whether it is worth to buy or not. since we are student, she want to buy a refurbishment MBP 13. but we don't know whether the price of refurbished MBP13 will drop lower than present price when the MBP 2012 publish or not?

Not sure if they've gone down in the past following a refresh, but I don't think they would. By all means buy the refurbished MBP if you need it now. If not, you could always wait.
