guys,

I bought iphone 4g 3 months ago and today left side of its hands free speaker stop working. I need to know if hands free came in warranty or any other solution except buying new one.

That's because there is no speaker on the left side...:D:D:D:D:D

I certainly was "picking" your question, that's why I quoted you. Your question clearly asked about a speaker on the left side of the phone.

I'll repeat my answer, there is no speaker on the left side of an iPhone, THAT IS A MICROPHONE!

Oddly enough I saw a guy take an iPhone to the Genius Bar yesterday for this exact "issue." I hope he felt like an idiot.

What's funny about it is that the complete iPhone User Manual is available right on the phone, and some/most have never bothered to open it up. Much easier to open an account on MR, and ask a question, I suppose.

It's threads like these that make me lose all hope for humanity.

And be shamed. You'd think people would do a goddamn Google search first.

I guess you didn't pick my question. Its a hand free issue

The headphones that came with the iPhone that you stick in your ears and talk? One of them stopped working?
You can just bring them to apple, they'll give you another set.

Pretty easy, now that we know that he is talking about the stock earphones.:D

I hope the next time you have an issue it turns out to be something simple and you end up feeling like a complete idiot.

To be fair, a number of people never realize it's there. Especially since half the time when they have an issue come up it's probably been a month or more since they got it and so forget it's there. Doubly so if they have someone they know with an iPhone and bug them for help normally :p

If it's the headphones with mic, then as Applejuiced said, just go to Apple, or where you got your phone (might have to call Apple) and you'll get a new set.

Sorry about the hassle, but they were confusing your issue for the "Only one of my speakers at the bottom of the phone is working" issue - which isn't an issue as one is a speaker, the other grill hides a microphone.
