Hello,
i need some help please:

I had to give back my new M4mini, and have now a new one.
My Audio interface requires some changes in the under the hood safety settings / safety mode startup / ...then Terminal,
here i have to enter the command: "csrutil disable".
(It´s a Presonus Quantum 2626. So, not a toy thing)

I can manage all steps until the last one: it is asking me for my user key.....i assume its asking for my password ?
it shows there a "key" symbol.
My problem:
whatever i would enter, i can´t enter anything, it shoes me nothing.
Whatever i try, i get a failure message at the end, there in the Terminal

Assuming the commend is prompting for an/your administrative account password, that’s normal behavior on UNIX/Linux.
But here’s the thing; Terminal does let you type your password, it just doesn’t look like it. The cursor on screen will not move, and there is no indicator the password is being entered at all. This is intentional and serves as a security mechanism, unlike entering a password into a web form or a standard GUI login screen, which is typically masked as asterisks like ******** or bullets like •••••••••••••, the lack of anything showing is entirely intentional and there is no such indication of entering passwords at the command line.

So, type your user password and press Enter/Return, even if you need to do it slowly and carefully while looking at the keyboard. (Again, assuming that’s what the prompt is for.)

Thanks at both for your feedback.

The Terminal command has worked out nice after reading here.
To make the wole thing working was again a bit harder than just that.
But things work now.

Cheers
