Need help to downgrade from ios5.1 to 4.2.1 for an iphhone 3GS

Hi All,

Need help to downgrade from ios5.1 to 4.2.1 for an iphhone 3GS..
I reset by jailbroken iphone by mistake and then I had to restore it using itunes.. so now my phone's locked again!! and i believe it has ios5.1 .. I want to downgrade the OS before unloacking it, since I've heard that a 3GS would become very slow with ios5.x

Bigsargewaymo7 - Thank you soo much for replying!! Well When I was searching the web for this came across a lot of references to SHSH..

Unfortunately, I have no idea!! I have a Mac book with the latest itunes version.. I just restored my phone using that... I don't remember being asked to select any options!!

Is there a way I can check it?
