Hi there.

I´m trying to get this guide to work on my machine.

It should make it possible to provide/host a copy of Apple´s updates from their server on your own when you have the service running on your install.
After following the guide and restarting the service i´m getting an error message saying:

"<Error>: Unable to download upstream catalog index (was looking for http://swupdate.cpfs.mpg.com:8088/content/meta/mirror-config-1.plist)"

After some trying i figured out that this never ever can work on my server as it´s directing to the author´s domain as in " "...

So i need some help here to adapt it.
I´m not hosting any website on my server so what i need to put here?

You should be able to just use http://127.0.0.1:8088 (or whatever port you set aside for the server to use). Or the internal IP of that machine might work better if you plan to connect to it from another machine on your network.

Cheers

Put it in a zip file first and see if that works. I had a similar situation in Dropbox and the only solution was to make the entire thing a zip file.

Hmm. I've only ever run apache in the past as a server, and I'm not really sure what type of set up you have. But to me it looks like your server is empty, like it doesn't have the apple updates you want to serve in the proper directory (or at all).

Cheers
