need help to fix erased iphone 4

i ve erased my iphone 4, and have some problems fixing it. i ve read some of the threads but couldnt find any solution.

i did back up my iphone but when i tried to restore DFU mode i dont have an option to restore but only upgrade to 4.2. so pls pls help me on this

sry that i didnt mention every single detail (coz m in a hurry), actually i use our local network operator so have to unlock it, but i heard there is no jailbreak for 4.2 so far

oh yeh there isn't a jailbreak yet... well that makes it a bit more complicated have you tried to search in iphone hacks there should be a threat about keeping your baseband.

How come you don't have the option of restoring? is it greyed out?

nop it shows no change, (m not aware abt iphone this is my first i4)
