OK, here's the situation...
A few months back my iBook G4 died (HD was intact) about 2 weeks after I upgraded to Leopard. I borrowed an old iMac (800mhz) that is two slow to run Leopard so I couldn't migrate my whole hard drive over. I cloned my iBook drive to a firewire drive so my entire iBook system is intact and easily accessible. I dragged over files I needed to the iMac running Tiger, ie. mail, documents, iCal and so I now have a second profile on this Tiger iMac.
So here's where I need help. I'm about to buy a Macbook. Between the two profiles there is much duplication, but there is also stuff that only exists in one or the other.
Advice?
