Need help transferring Aperture images to iPhoto...

I know that in iPhoto there is the option to "show my aperture library" but when I click on an album in that menu box, no photos come up even though they're supposed to be there. I should mention that this is only with some of the albums... The reason that I'm doing this is because I use my iPhoto library to view all my photos and Aperture to edit them... I want to have the edited images in iPhoto instead of the originals.
