need help transferring music from vista to os x over wifi

OS X cant see the windows machine on the network. What should i do to fix it so i can transfer over 40 gigs of music

For that much, I wouldn't use wireless. I'd either use an external drive or ethernet cable. MUCH faster.

Did you already set up a shared folder on the Vista Machine? (I always share the My Documents folder which contains the iTunes Music Library if organized automatically)

I also recommend using ethernet or a spare hard drive or something like Senuti.
