need help trasfering files cuz I am thinking of selling my pismo

I have jaguar 10.2.6 and I am thinking of selling my good ol pismo, i got a really good offer on it.

but i want my files! what should i do?! i am not going to get a new mac immediately so what should i do?? I will have the HD with all the files I want on it... which is the HD i am using now, how can i transfer the data there to my new mac? should i do it manually? is there any apps i can use that will help? i want everything from emails and apps to pictures and music.
