Hi. My first post. I have an old iPhone 5s and just watched the streaming launch of the new iPhone 7 & 7s today. Currently, I am under my roommate's Verizon plan and purchased my iPhone 5s used from a friend, so I don't currently have a contract with Verizon and I'm under my roommate's plan. I'd like to buy the new iPhone 7s with 256 Gb when it comes out but I don't want to be on a two-year contract but stay under my roommate's Verizon contract. So my questions are, 1) Is this possible? 2) Can I buy the new iPhone 7s on a payment plan (monthly) when it comes out and be assured that I can do the same when the iPhone 8 (2017) comes out next year? How much is the monthly payment plan? I don't know how this all works. Any help would be most appreciated.
