So, I have a basic iPhone 3G. I had it jailbroken and unlocked almost 2 years ago when I was actually using it. Yesterday, I plugged it into my computer after finding it and stupidly hit Sync.... So, my iPhone is now cleared and restored.

I don't know AT ALL how to unlock it... that's all I want. I don't even want to make calls with it... I would like to use it as an iTouch type device.

Basically, can someone tell me STEP BY STEP (legit iphone for dummies over here) how to unlock/jailbreak a white, 16GB iPhone 3G. I don't know the firmware or any of that other stuff, but since it was restored on the newest version of iTunes, I can only imagine it's that now...

I also don't have an ATT SIM card. Obviously.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help!! Thanks so much.
