Need Help unlocking iPhone 3gs

Hey guys this is driving me nuts.. i been looking online for like 4 hours and still dont know what to do.. I just bought a 32gb iPhone with iOS 4 installed. The phone was never jailbreak before. The model is MB717LL. Week# 23 and with old bootrom 359.3. I have tried downgrading to firmware to 3.1.3 but itunes is not letting me. Do you have any suggestions? or am I stuck until a new method comes out? Thanks for the input.
