i want to buy a bigger harddrive for my imac, and i dont know how to get the old one out, any help? or step by step instructions would be much much apreciated.....also with this in mind whats the best way to clone my old hard drive.....

thanks alot in advanced

Well we should start with knowing what iMac you have exactly. And it should also be known your level of doing self-upgrades. Because some iMac HDD replacements are not for the feint of heart (i.e. it's really hard!).

Why not just get an external?

ok, sorry for not posting the Imac that I have here you go....

its a 20inch intel desktop,4gigs of ram(667 DDR2SDRAM), leopard 10.5.6, 2.33 intel core duo,

it has a 250 gig hard drive now but I need more space....im trying to run bootcamp its the soul purpose for this......and i am very confident i can do this heart transplant with out droping a mentos in there
