Need help upgrading to 1.1.2

I had originally jailbroken on 1.1.1 and was trying to upgrade to 1.1.2 and followed the process and it didnt work. Then I plugged it into my PC and it synced the library on that computer to there and then I synced again on my MBP. Do I need to downgrade to 1.1.1 and go through the whole process again?
 
starting from scratch may help, when on 1.1.1 again do the jailbreakme.com apptapp install then when installer appears go into install and look for oktoprep install that then do a normal update through itunes, then run the 1.1.2 jailbreak and all should run smoothly
