Greetings,
I have been a Mac user for about 8 months and just now discovered "Favorites" while watching a video podcast. I am having all sorts of trouble setting it up though. I have no folder on my system named favorites, so I tried to use the menu bar commands instead. I searched for favorites in the help menu, and it showed that the command is located under the File menu, which I can see when highlighting it under help. Well, when I select a document or program and go the File Menu, the Favorite command is gone.
I tried going the long route by highlighting a file, then searching for Favorites, and following that path to the Favorites command in the File Menu. It does remain there and I was able to actually click on it then, but apparently nothing happened. At least nothing that I noticed.
Am I misunderstanding something here?
