Need help using the Lion Recovery HD

I'm trying to reinstall OS X lion by using the Recovery HD. I know that is a last resort type thing, but that is where im at right now. When I sign into my wifi with my WEP key it then asks me this:

"airportd wants to use the "login" keychain."
"Please enter the keychain password."


I have tried any password that I knew of and none of them worked. I have no idea what to do.

Any ideas?

Try entering your system administrator password for that prompt..the one you used when you install software or change settings.

I've already tried every password that I know to use.

Hi there,

Not sure if you ever figured this out, but I ran into this thread while googling the same problem. I figured it out the answer for myself in the end: as you are installing Lion from scratch, there is no password set for keychain access. This means when you are prompted for a password, all you have to do is press enter without entering anything, and that should work.
