Need Help. Version 1.1.4. Update ? Jailbreak ?

I recently brought an Unlocked original Iphone off ebay with a version 1.1.4.

As I heard, an unlocked Iphone is already jailbreak. If so, do I need to get it to the newest version 3.0.0 ? How do I do that ?

And how will I be able to run jailbreak apps on it ?

And Can a jailbreak Iphone uses the app store ?

Update your iPhone to 3.1.3 through iTunes. After that you can download a 3.1.2 firmware file and use pwnage tool to jailbreak.

You'll be able to run any jailbreak app you can find on Cydia, except for those that involve 3G, GPS or the compass.
