need help w/apple mail and yahoo account

for some reason i had 3 yahoo pop accounts accounts with the same email address tied in to my accounts in apple mail - only one of them was active so i deleted the other two accounts as they were not enabled - well in doing so i have lost every single yahoo email, even the ones i saved on my mac and they were not saved on the yahoo server - i have a time machine and did my last back up in december but i am not sure if that will even retrieve my yahoo emails - does anyone have any suggestions?
