need help wich one to buy?

Hi all,
I'm going to buy a mac pro as soon as they upgrade. I can wait till then. the problem I've having is which one to buy? I'm only going to use it for photoshop, lightroom and the like, no video. do I need an 8 core or will a quad core do me?

They are rumored to come out with new six-core chips in the new Mac Pro. There is a possibility that they will also have a quad-core option for a low end Mac Pro. I would say wait til then before making any decisions on which one to get. You might think of one you want and later on find out they don't have the option.
