In 10.4, whenever I wanted to access a shared folder on the PC, I would go to Network (in the finder sidebar) and access "PC2" and then enter my password and select what I wanted to mount. That would add the folder "Files for Print" that was shared on the PC in my finder sidebar.
HOWEVER.. in 10.5, I now have a "Shared" area in the finder sidebar with the items it can find. One being "PC2" (the windows box) and the other is "CPP500" which is the rip for our color copier.
If I click on PC2, It then shows the shared items on that machine where "Files for Print" shows up. I double click that and now I'm in and can share files between the Mac and the PC. Ok.. fine.. BUT.
What I want to do is have "Files for Print" permanently remain in the left area of the finder windows.. preferably under "Places"... just like any other item I can drag in there to stay there. Is that possible?
