As of yesterday, my iPhone 3GS with old bootrom JB and unlocked was working perfectly, then when I put it in Airplane mode and back, it froze.

After 5 hours of being stuck on the apple boot logo, I gave up. I tried restoring to 3.1.2 in iTunes, and iTunes wouldn't let me because it would not be signed off by Apple.

I was running the 05.11.07 baseband on 3.1.2. After doing some research I saw that some people were able to keep the 05.11.07 baseband while upgrading to 3.1.3 FW.

I basically just need to know how I can restore my iPhone, keep it unlocked and jailbroken now. BTW: I do not have Sauriks make my life easier SHSH setup on it. So that method is not an option. Are there custom 3.1.3 FWs that maintain the old baseband?

I just need to be able to use multiple SIM cards on my phone as I travel around with the military; however, most of the time I use ATT.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

You have the oldboot so you can use Pwnage tool to restore to either 3.1.2 or 3.1.3.
This will keep your baseband at 5.11.07.
You can do this without your SHSH stored because your phone is already JB and you are restoring to a custom FW which doesn't need to be signed.
Search for an iClarified tutorial if you need it.

Can I do this with a windows 7 PC? And do I need to download anything special?

Thanks

You cannot use Pwnage tool on a PC, but you can download a custom FW made by Pwnage tool and restore it through itunes.
Google is your friend in this scenario .
