I bought a cell on eBay. I won the case. Like an idiot, I shipped the phone out on the deadline date eBay gave me. One problem - I forgot to input the tracking number and the case closed at midnight before I realized it.

I emailed the seller after I confirmed he got it - no response. Texted him -no response.

Is there any way I can get my money back? What he's doing is morally wrong (and maybe illegal?) - he can't have the phone AND my money.

Would contacting his local police department get me anywhere?

Wow eBay requires you to ship even with a deadbeat buyer?

That wasn't the case last time I used eBay. If that's a new thing, it's much worse than I thought.

I'm confused, were you the buyer or the seller? You talk like you bought and returned it, but you refer to him as the buyer.

I'm still confused, if you're the buyer why did you ship the cell phone?
