I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) running High Sierra 10.13.6.

I'm trying to set up something that will allow me to switch (hardware?, software?) between a dual 24-inch display set up and a 4k 43" monitor without plugging and unplugging connections.

My primary workstation is a set of two Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-Inch (1920x1200, 60Hz) monitors (currently going into the MacBook using DisplayPort cables into a Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort Adapter into a single Thunderbolt 3 port). I also have a TCL S Series 43S405 4K 43" TV that I use for group meetings and video conferences. My understanding and experience is that the MacBook Pro only supports two external monitors at a time. So at the moment when I would like to use the large TCL 4k display, I unplug the Dells and plug into the TCL via an HDMI cable using an HDMI to Thunderbolt 3 adapter.

I'm wondering if I can set something up such that I can switch between the Dual Dell UltraSharps and the TCL with either a hardware or (ideally) a software switch. The goal is not to have to plug and unplug monitors.
