so i bought an iphone on ebay and it said that it was having problems, i figured that i'm pretty smart and that i could fix it. Well the phone wont powerup (no biggie) and i took it to apple. They said that they would swap it out for me no problem but that they wanted to verify what account it was activated on. okay now i'm screwed because i can't activate the iphone on itunes because it won't power up. Is there a way to activate the iphone on itunes without the phone being hooked up?

I think I was watching that ebay auction for the iPhone that wasn't registered yet. lol
Seriously now, sorry that your having problems. But I think that you have to have the iPhone powered up and working in order to register it.
