Need help with Airport wireless

I have an Airport Extreme as my router. I need to use 2 Airport Express to extend my wireless network in my house. I can't seem to get both to work at the same time. Is this possible? Any tips?
 
Are you setting your AirPort Express devices to 'Extend a Wireless Network', not join one?
