Bought 2.0 macbook. Dissatisified with screen washout, lack of viewing angles, and dark displays on it are substandard.

Went to applestore, got an authorization number from the genius. Should I:

1. Wait to try to swap it out for a MB with a better screen?

2. Have them replace the screen under warranty?

3. Shell out the extra $700 to upgrade to a Macbook Pro? Or,

4. Not just watch movies with nighttime scenes on it (or apple keynotes where steve's turtleneck blends completely into the background, leaving a giant steve jobs floating head)?

I would experience everyone's experience, strength, and hope...

I would personally suggest the following:

1. Get the pro, and do not look back.
2. Get the new Air, and do not look back.

You will never see the screens on the MB to be as good as the two other higher priced products in Apples pipe. The big difference IMO of 700 price is that screen on the MB; and it is abysmal to say the least. Don't even waste your time replacing it, they cant fix the crappy part they are factory installing.

The Air's screen is even better than the MBP IMO as well.

I second Tigres there!
Go Pro and don't look back. If you can afford it...that is. The matte screen is a way away, so, we'll have to make do with what we get!
