need help with applecare

hey whats up , im not sure if this is the rightr spot for this type of thread but i need help asap. heres the whole story.

I bought my ex-gf, gf then, a macbook last year, and well she waited until a few days ago to let me know that she still hasnt bought applecare. given the circumstances i just wna the the lil guy to be covered. so bassically if she waits to the exact one year date will it be too late for apple care.

she just bought it tonight, ac, and it telling her something is wrong with teh the serial number.

i guess my question is will she be able to call in the morning and get things situated with the apple care, even if that date is the one year mark.

please help. thank you.

Exactly one year should be ok, but nothing later.

Not exactly true, your Applecare must be registered before your one year warranty expires. If you buy it exactly a year from the date of originally purchase, you might be cutting it too tight, sometimes the registration isn't quite instantaneous and you might end up getting screwed.
